As we approach the end of the current school year, we want to inform you about a necessary process: school re-registration. In keeping with the New Jersey State Education Department Regulations, the Bloomingdale School District must ensure that all students are legal residents of the Borough of Bloomingdale. While the residency and custodial requirements are carefully adhered to during the registration process, there are limited opportunities to confirm a family’s residency once a child is enrolled. Therefore, per BOE Policy 5111, we require all students in transitional school grades (4th to 5th, 8th to 9th, and non-Butler High School students) to re-register for the 2025-2026 school year.

Bloomingdale Public Schools is excited to offer new informational events as we approach the school referendum on March 11, 2025!

Due to the latest weather forecast, we have canceled the information session scheduled for the evening of Wednesday, February 12. Since we don’t have contact information for everyone in the community, we wanted to announce this early to ensure no one is left out in the cold.
